Teaming up with OSHEAGA Arts and Converse, Ninja Tune presented DJ Food's 'The Search Engine' at the SAT Satosphere for five spectacular performances in July, 2012. This marked the debut of 'The Search Engine' in North America, stemming from the world premiere which took place at London’s Planetarium in January 2012.
Strictly Kev aka DJ Food adapted his content to fit the Satosphere in order to provide a phonic and visual performance unlike anything else. The show was originally created with the help of astronomers from the Royal Observatory of Greenwich, using music from Food's 'The Search Engine' album, images from Kev’s personal archives as well as an array of material provided by the astronomers themselves. The SAT performance presented a remixed version of the album, as well as new and exclusive material that provides spectators with a 360-degree immersive experience.
